The tremendous benefits of sauna

Want to reduce your risk of death of all causes by up to 40 percent ☠?!? What about the risk of developing memory problems by 65 percent !?

Or does your family have a memory disorder? It came as a surprise to myself that frequent sauna use reduces the risk of developing dementia or Alzheimer’s disease by 65%.

Go to the Sauna 20 minutes 4-7 times a week and it will offer you such health benefits! πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

According to the old saying: "Sauna is the doctor of the poor," is not entirely bullshit. For us, the sauna, perhaps the most sacred of the buildings, is also an incredible caretaker in the light of current knowledge. A study conducted in Finland, which monitored more than 2,000 middle-aged men for 20 years, shows that regular use of the sauna was able to significantly reduce mortality and memory disorders.

Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death in Finland. There are many ways to fight it, but the following numbers speak for themselves: men who go to the sauna 2-3 times a week have a 27% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease compared to men who visit once a week. The number of deaths due to all causes also dropped by 24%. Men who sauna 4-7 times a week dropped the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease by up to 50% !! I mean, if this does not make you wanna sweat your tits numb - I don´t know what will!

The single largest mechanism by which sauna improves heart health is the drop in blood pressure, possibly as a result of the balance in the autonomic nervous system (Parasympathetic being more activated due to rise in oxytocin levels which happens due to the warmth). There is also improved vascular function because of the decreased stiffness in the blood vessels.

 "Loose as a dead goose."

Not really, maybe the goose is just being reborn.

Taking a sauna can raise your heart rate to as high as 150 heartbeats per minute, so it’s quite a workout! And it can be thought as training your physiology to handle such heated moments in your life that raise the rate so high.

In an 80 celcius sauna - you should spend at least 20 minutes to get the most out of it.

Sauna is also of particular benefit to athletes: heat shock proteins repair damaged proteins and sauna increases growth hormone levels by up to 200-330%

With those percentages, I wish you all soft steams or lΓΆyly like we call them in Finland for the rest of the week πŸ˜‚
